The all-in-one solution for your clinical need
Our star RF Electrode, an innovative radiofrequency electrode, features 3 gauge sizes, 6 shaft lengths, and 6 active tip lengths to provide uncompromised treatment for various indications.
The star RF Electrode features a scalpel-sharp trocar tip that promotes smooth tissue puncturability without the need for an incision.
Improved metal coating on the shaft enhances ultrasound visibility for precise lesion targeting. Markings on the shaft facilitate accurate estimation of nodule penetration depth.
With customer feedback, we’ve made our handles lighter and smaller to facilitate smooth action and easy maneuverability for precision control.
The built-in internal cooling system maximizes the ablation margin while minimizing tissue charring.
A monopolar RF electrode is a device used in thermal ablation procedures. It delivers focused energy to a targeted area to treat conditions in tissues such as the thyroid, liver, or kidney. STARmed’s monopolar RF electrode is designed for precision, efficiency, and safety.
In monopolar systems, a grounding pad (also known as a dispersive electrode) is essential. It’s placed on the patient’s body—typically on the thigh or back—to safely return the electrical current from the electrode, completing the circuit and ensuring the energy is dispersed without harming surrounding tissue. This setup enhances both the safety and effectiveness of the ablation procedure.
The STARmed RF ablation electrode uses radiofrequency energy to create controlled thermal lesions in tissue. Its internal cooling system enhances the ablation margin while reducing the risk of tissue charring.
The STARmed RF electrode is indicated for use in various systems, including the thyroid, uterus, liver, kidney, bone, and more. It supports minimally invasive treatment for benign nodules.
Intended Use
The VIVA combo RF System is intended for use in percutaneous and intraoperative coagulation and ablation of tissue.
Star/VIVA RF Electrode is intended for use in percutaneous and intraoperative coagulation and ablation of tissue.
The ELRA Electrode is a radiofrequency (RF) catheter which provides bipolar energy to perform partial or complete ablation of tissue in the pancreatic and biliary tracts.
