Pancreatic Tumors

EUS-Guided RFA

Minimally Invasive Management for Pancreatic and Extra-Pancreatic Tumors

Pancreatic cancer remains one of the most challenging malignancies to treat. For these patients, EUS RFA provides a safe and minimally invasive alternative that can enhance local control and expand therapeutic options.

<5%

5-year survival rate for advanced pancreatic cancer¹

~95%

Pancreatic cancers are diagnosed at stage IV²

3–14%

Surgical mortality rates for NET (neuroendocrine tumors) resections³

How does Endoscopic Ultrasound-Guided RFA work?

EUSRA™ delivers targeted, controlled heat to pancreatic and peri-pancreatic lesions under direct endoscopic ultrasound guidance. The electrode is cooled internally to maintain safe, consistent ablation zones while minimizing tissue damage.

Applications Beyond the Pancreas

While widely studied in pancreatic adenocarcinoma and NETs, EUSRA™ has been used in a variety of extra-pancreatic tumors and pain syndromes:

Other Applications

  • Pancreatic adenocarcinoma
  • Pancreatic cystic lesions
  • Neuroendocrine tumors (NETs)
  • Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC)
  • Adrenal tumors
  • Celiac plexus ablation
  • Gastrointestinal stromal tumors

Technology that Supports Confident Ablation

Real-Time Imaging

Doppler-enhanced EUS visualization reduces the risk of injuring vessels or ducts.

Internal Cooling

Circulating saline prevents charring, improving consistency and safety.

Flexible Portfolio

Multiple electrode sizes for diverse lesions.
